Charlotte made music with me for many years, I couldn't have wished for a more spectacular presence on stage. When I asked her to join Widescreen she thought for a moment, nodded yes, then exclaimed: "My God, I've forgotten my family, already!"
Although Charlotte's ability to emotionally capture an audience was phenomenal, as was her ability to get tangled in cables.
We parted musical company at the end of last year but have remained friends. I miss her next to me on stage.
